ASPRI-Institute of Process Industry (ASPRI-IPI) recently concluded a strategic mission to the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo 2026 in Houston, USA. This visit marks a significant step in our commitment to bringing world-class competency standards and advanced technical training to Singapore’s process industry.

Key Mission Highlights

Strategic Global Partnership: ASPRI-IPI engaged in high-level discussions with AMPP leadership to strengthen our collaborative framework. These talks focused on establishing a robust pathway for internationally recognised certifications in Singapore, ensuring our local workforce remains globally competitive.

Technology & Innovation: The team explored the AMPP Expo, featuring over 300 global vendors. We learned cutting-edge inspection technologies and surface preparation solutions in use at USA that may benefit our members and enhance the local process sector.

Next-Generation Training Facilities: A technical tour of the AMPP Training Centre provided a blueprint for the future of our own facilities. We observed advanced practical setups for coatings and cathodic protection, ensuring that upcoming programs at ASPRI-IPI will mirror the highest global fidelity.

Moving Forward

Following the successful Houston mission, ASPRI-IPI is now in the final stages of preparing a suite of specialised AMPP training programs for ASPRI Members and the Singapore market.
